None. My mother died shortly after bringing me into this world, unfortunately. I was sickly and my father over-protective, so I was raised in relative isolation.

There was a girl my father brought in as my lady's maid. She was the closest I've ever had to a sister, I suppose. I miss her dearly.

But truly it as just me and him and a rather nosy aunt.

There do seem to be quite a few of us! Though I don't know if I'd call myself orphaned when my father is still in the picture.

He did throw himself into his work and studies though, so I was mostly seeing to myself.

Your Sizhui has his parents too, of course. I think children can afford their parents the opportunity to right the wrongs inflicted on them.
